How do I submit my odometer reading if I would like to purchase ?

You have to take a photo of your odometer reading via our mobile application before you contact our agents.

Step 1: Launch our mobile application

Step 2: Click “click here” at the bottom for access to more products

Step 3: Click on the “PrOmilej” tile.

Step 4: Submit Odometer Reading and Mileage

Step 5: Enter your Vehicle Registration Number and your ID

Step 6: Take a photo of your car’s odometer reading and enter you odometer mileage reading

Step 7: Enter your email, and other details

Can I purchase PrOmilej without submitting the odometer mileage photo ?

No. You have to submit a valid odometer mileage photo and reading in order to purchase this PrOmilej. Failing which, we reserve the right not to insure your case.

What happens if I exceed my allocated mileage ?

If you have exceeded your allocated mileage and Grace Mileage before the end of the period for which you’re insured, you will only be covered for third party bodily injury or death and third party property damage but not loss and damage to your vehicle due to accident, fire or theft.

For your own benefit, the top up should occur before the mileage allocation is reached. You will not be allowed to top up after an accident occurs if you have exceeded your allocated mileage. Thus, it is important to monitor your mileage and top up your policy to the next level of mileage or to the full mileage cover if you think you will exceed your allocated mileage before the end of the period.

No, there will be no refund or carry over of your unused mileage when you renew.

What is Credit Shortfall Motorcycle Insurance ?

In the event of a theft or total loss of your motorcycle, our Credit Shortfall Insurance pays the balance amount of the loan to the bank, after subtracting the sum insured or market value amount (whichever is greater) of your motorcycle. This product is renewable on a yearly basis if your motorcycle is still under hire-purchase and insured under our comprehensive policy.

What should I do when my vehicle is stolen ?

You must report to the police immediately or within 24 hours, then proceed to contact us at 1800-88-2121 (Press 4) to inform us of the loss.

My son/daughter just received his/her license. Do I need to add my child as a named driver ?

Yes. You may but subject to an additional excess (Compulsory Excess) of RM400 if he/she is driving your car in the event of an accident. The minimum requirements are that he/she:

  • Is under 21 years old;
  • Holds a Provisional (P) or Learner (L) driver’s licence.

Why do I have to pay an Excess ?

To eliminate minor and/or small claims. We hope that by adding this charge, it will encourage drivers to take more care on the roads. Too many small claims and no excess to pay on car insurance would also increase premiums. If insurance policies didn’t have excess charges, claims could be made for small amounts which would mean much higher costs to run insurance companies overall.

What if I cannot afford to pay the excess ?

If you do not have the money available to pay the excess your insurer may refuse your claim or deduct the amount from what they pay towards the repairs.

Yes. A driver with an international license is covered on your policy so long as they abide by the laws.

What is Roadside Assist ?

Roadside Assist is our 24/7 Call Centre Service dedicated to helping you with any road accidents or breakdown across Malaysia. With Roadside Assist, you can request services such as Battery Replacements, Fuel Delivery, Tyre Replacement, Jump Start Assistance, Ambulance Assistance and Towing services. If you are planning to make a claim, we can also provide a towing service to one of our Authorised Panel Workshops who will continue to assist you after.

However, please note that the Roadside Assist services is subject to the terms and conditions of our service provider. The service does not cover cases of vehicles not in a towable condition and the additional cost incurred due to additional equipment used (e.g. Baby Tyre, Basement Towing, GoJack, Portable Jack / Dolly). This will have to be borne by you.

  • Free minor on-the-spot assistance up to RM200***

*within your mileage plan coverage.
